Trampoline Parks Keep Your Kids Busy During the Summer Heat

Summertime poses a serious challenge for Sacramento parents who don’t want their kids to spend all summer in front of a screen—computer, phone, or TV—but also want to keep them cool and safe as temperatures soar. Most activities involving any amount of actual, well, activity involve venturing out into the summer heat.

Some parents opt to take their kids to a gym to swim or play basketball, but gym memberships can be extremely pricey, while once-popular destinations with indoor playgrounds like McDonald’s no longer have the massive mazes of ladders, tubes and slides that many of us fondly remember.

But thankfully, a brand new kid’s fun center in Sacramento is aiming to change that.

Rebounderz is Sacramento’s newest destination for staying active and having fun all year long.

You may have visited trampoline parks before, hoping to keep your kids occupied for the day, only to find them getting bored after an hour or so. But while trampolines are the centerpiece of this indoor playground, Rebounderz isn’t just any trampoline park.

While you may not have heard of Rebounderz before, it’s an established nationwide franchise, with locations elsewhere in California and several other states. Rebounderz Sacramento is the chain’s newest location, and just one of the many new businesses to have opened in the newly revitalized Country Club Plaza mall.

One of the great things about Rebounderz is that kids of all ages and abilities can have a great time. Younger children can have a ball on the trampolines, air pit, and playground structure. Older and more coordinated children can play trampoline basketball, jump off the 14-foot-tall tower, or climb one of the many 24-foot-tall rock climbing walls. Lastly, there are three levels of Ninja Warrior Courses that will challenge the strength and coordination of even the most skilled teens (and adults!). And if you’re worn out and need to take a break, you can spend time at the facility’s onsite arcade, or grab a drink and a bite to eat at the café.

Rebounderz are great trampoline parks to burn a couple hours without burning up in the sun this summer. But for parents who want to keep the kids busy all summer long, Rebounderz is now offering a Summer Camp program as well!

Summer Camp

Rebounderz’ summer camp runs all summer long, with full-week, full-day, and half-day options. Campers have exclusive access to all of the facility’s attractions, including the playground, basketball courts, rock climbing walls, Ninja Warrior Courses, and more.

If you’re the parent of a little one, you don’t have to worry about your child having to share with bigger—and livelier—children. Campers are placed into age groups, and only one age group has access to the facility at any one time, and campers are always supervised by Rebounderz counselors.

As a bonus, full-day campers on Thursday are treated to a pizza party and arcade time. All camp sessions include a t-shirt, jump socks, and lemonade.

Summer Camp sessions will be running from June 18th to August 1st. Click here for more information, or to sign your kids up for days of awesome indoor summer fun!
