The Halloween Spooktacular is a Town Center favorite and will feature trick-or-treating from 3-6pm at participating Town Center businesses. A costume contest for kids, families, and dogs will begin at 5pm in the Steven Young Amphitheater with categories for Most Creative, Hero/Villain or Princes, Cutest, Most Scariest, and Best Group or Family.

Bring the whole family to Sacramento for a trick or treat event in a spooktastic Halloween at Hallo-Palooza & Trunk-or-Treat ! Explore Elk Grove and Elk Grove Police Department have teamed up to put together a night filled with thrills, chills, and Halloween magic. Stop by all the decorated Elk Grove Police Department trunks to grab your candy and check out all 13 vehicles. Take the kids to their bubble zone and entertainment stage sponsored by Wilton Rancheria for some fall fun.

The event also includes DJ Dance party, costume contest, haunted parlor makeover station, spook-tacular marching band parade, and a fang-tastic avenue filled with art, entertainment, characters and loads of family fun. Test your skills and win spooky prizes at Cosumnes Services District’s thrilling carnival games. Hallo-Palooza is Elk Grove’s 2nd annual family-friendly Halloween event. With over 4,000 attendees in 2022, they are moving the event to District 56.

Trick-or-treat yourself through our free candy stations and fill your buckets with early Halloween loot. Enjoy free face painting to match your costume. Test your skill in our scavenger hunt to win a prize, and participate in our free children’s activities to burn off some energy before the night falls.

Snack on harvest-themed treats available for purchase, and show off your Halloween drip in our finale, Spookin’ the Quarry Costume Parade, at 2:00 p.m. They’ll also have free photography opportunities courtesy of Capitol Sports Youth Photography. Beverages, snacks, and hot foods will also be available to purchase from local vendors California Shaved Ice, India Jones, and Snack Attack Mobile. Bring your kids to the Sacramento area’s 4th annual trunk or treat festival. TNT Kidz Center will have lots of yummy food and goodies, as well as amazing vendors and their incredible haunted house. They will also have a petting zoo, face painting, jump houses, and lots of trick or treating in Sacramento so come prepared to have fun!

Steve Mahoney and Friends Band joining will play live from 2-5 pm and a swinging DJ from 5-8 pm. Their haunted house will be opening at 4 pm!

It’s time to hang up the cobwebs and put out the pumpkins! Join Cordova Rec & Park District on Saturday, October 28, at Hagan Community Park for the annual Halloween at Hagan event. Dress in your best costume for trunk-or-treat, carnival games, a zombie run, a themed obstacle course, and more. This year, you’ll also want to pack the swimsuit as they add the Cordova Community Pool to the festivities. Admission is $5 per child (Supervising adults are free).

Before heading inside for all the action, your little ghosts and goblins can enjoy collecting treats at the annual trunk-or-treat in the Hagan Community Center parking lot. Admission is free for trunk-or-treat. Pre-registration is recommended but not required. Please bring proof of purchase with you to the event check-in. Online registration closes at 10:00 a.m. on October 28. Tickets will be available to purchase at the event.

Calling all boos and ghouls, join in for a fun day of trick or treat in Sacramento featuring multiple candy stations, outside play, art activities, and more! Sacramento Children’s Museum is hosting Trick or Treat on Halloween morning. There will be 10 am and 11 am sessions. The event is free, but they welcome donations of new or gently used children’s books for its lending library.

Capacity is limited, so registration is required. All its activities will be held outside. The wearing of masks is recommended but not required. Dress-up is highly encouraged. Bring it with you to drop off at check-in on the day!
