Indoor Play Areas In Greater Sacramento

As the weather gets cooler you will likely be looking for indoor play spaces in Sacramento to take your kids. We have some great suggestions of fun indoor play spaces in the Sacramento area that are great for the whole family.

Art Beast

Art Beast is an art studio in midtown where kids can create many different types of art using a variety of different mediums. With an open studio space and arts exploration rooms, your little one is sure to have a fun time. They offer art classes in dance, yoga, storytelling, singing, drumming, Spanish, visual arts, music, movement, and dramatic arts. The exploration rooms are Dramatic Play (performing stage, costumes, and props), The Loft (nooks and crannies), The Nest (for little ones), Music, The Courtyard (sand,gravel, water, chalk, art), and The Building Room (ramps, lego walls, and blocks). You can purchase monthly passes, punch cards, annual passes, and annual memberships. Art Beast is open 9am to 6pm daily.

Indoor Play Sacramento Kids Climbaroo

In the north area of Natomas, you’ll find Climbaroo, an indoor play center with climbing structures, jumps, slides, and tunnels that is a great place for kids to burn off energy. Climbaroo has a little cafe next to the indoor play area where you can buy simple foods like hot dogs and pizza and some simple snacks. They offer birthday party packages and discounts for groups of 10 or more. Climbaroo is open Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 6pm. Weekend hours are posted every Wednesday.

Indoor Play Sacramento Kids Wacky Tacky

Wacky Tacky

Wacky Tacky is a notable franchise that has locations in Roseville and Rancho Cordova.  Each facility has a large indoor playground with jumps, slides, tunnels, and a variety of things to do. They have open play Monday through Friday. There are 4 birthday party package to choose from. There is no open play on weekends since weekends are reserved for private birthday parties. A typical birthday party will have 45 minutes each in 2 play areas and then 45 minutes in the party room. Wacky Tacky is open every Monday through Sunday from 9am to 8pm.

Indoor Play Sacramento Kids Color Me Mine

Color Me Mine

Color Me Mine is a studio which allows you to paint your own pottery and there are locations in Roseville, Folsom, and Elk Grove. They have many different kinds of items to paint from bowls and plates to picture frames and piggy banks. The items that you paint at Color Me Mine tend to make great gifts. The hours vary by location. The Folsom location is open Monday through Saturday 10am to 9pm and Sunday 10am to 7pm. The Elk Grove location is open Monday through Thursday 10am to 8pm. Friday this location is open 10am to 9pm. Sunday it is open 10am to 5pm.

Laguna’s Awesome Party Palace

Laguna’s Awesome Party Palace in Elk Grove offers 5 large jump houses and arcade games for kids to play. Laguna Party Palace is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 8pm. Saturday and Sunday they are closed for private parties. Laguna Awesome Party Palace offers both weekday and weekend birthday party packages.

Rockin Jump RosevilleRockin Jump – Roseville

For those of you with active kids,  we suggest you check out Rockin Jump in Roseville.  This fun trampoline park features an Open Jump Arena, a Dodgeball Arena, a Slam Dunk Zone, a Vertigo Climbing Tower (rock climbing), and a Stunt Bag Arena. Every single day there is a large window of open jump time for everyone. On weekdays the open jump time is 3pm to 8pm. Fridays they have Rockin Fridays from 8pm to 10pm. Saturdays they have open jump from 10am to 8pm and Rockin Saturdays from 8pm to 10pm.

Caliglo

Caliglo is a fairly new venue that opened up in Elk Grove a few months ago. It features laser tag and glow-in-the-dark mini golf. They offer birthday party packages. Caliglo is open Monday through Friday 3pm-9pm, Saturday 11-10pm, and Sunday 11am-pm.

Indoor Play Sacramento Kids Imagine Play

Imagine Play

Imagine Play is the newest indoor play facility in the area. Located in Elk Grove, Imagine Play is a children’s indoor play center offering active and pretend play, hourly activities, an infant area, and a snack bar. Imagine Play also offers special events and birthday party packages. Because Elk Grove currently has no other play center like this, the Grand Opening of Imagine Play coming October 22 from 9:30am to 3:30pm is especially noteworthy. You can purchase Imagine Play Grand Opening tickets HERE. One ticket per child over age 1 is required. Two adults may accompany each child ticket.
