Davis Ranch, LLC has 40 acres of Christmas trees with about 40,000 trees growing and more than 10,000 trees over 6 feet tall. All of its choose and cut Christmas trees are only $43.99 plus tax for any tree of any height. Varieties include but are not limited to Douglas Fir, Incense Cedar, and Sierra Redwood.

They will provide a saw when entering and twine to tie trees down. They have tree wrapping available for a nominal fee and staff to help with tying a tree down if needed. Pre-cut trees may be available and are priced as marked. Make sure to call before you visit.

Mikey’s trees are grown on the family-run farms in the central Oregon city of Salem. Christmas trees are a row crop that is planted for the sole purpose of helping your family celebrate the holiday season. Harvesting the trees begins in November in order to get ready for the tree season.

This process begins with individual hand tagging the trees to be cut, then cut the trees, followed by shaking them to free loose needles. The cut trees are gathered into large bails and are then picked up by helicopters and removed from the field to a landing area from which they will be loaded onto trucks and shipped directly to their final destination.

Northwood Christmas Tree Lot in Orangevale sells trees that are grown at their own farm in Oregon City as well as a friend’s farm that is a few miles away. Each tree is hand selected for harvest.  After they are cut, they are then shaken to remove excess needles, run through a baler to bind them for easier transport and then loaded onto semi-trucks. After they arrive in their lot, each tree is then given a fresh cut and put into its own stand with water to keep them as fresh as possible until they are taken home by you.
