Kids’ Baking Workshops are offered each month throughout the school year. Sign up students 8-16 years old for baking classes starting in February 2023. Classes are held Tuesdays or Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. The cost is $175 per student. Each class consists of one lesson per week for 4 weeks. Minimum class size is 6 students. The maximum class size is 12 students. Class is subject to cancellation if less than 6 students are signed up per class.

Nimbus Fish Hatchery is close to home and sits along Sacramento’s American River. Located east of Elk Grove is the historic Preston Castle in Ione. The beautiful structure was built in the 1890s but is now a deserted castle that has been opened to the public for tours.
